Firstly.....yeaaaahhh... im back to bloggin after nearly one and a half month...why did i take a sabbatical for so long??...well i thought that bloggin wasn't really that important to me..it was just one of those passing fads which come and go...but nah..NOW..i don't think so...Lots has happened within this span in my ...life ...city ..family...Nyway i just wanna talk abt a topic thats really close to my heart....

How come on hearin the word "Blood" people make funny faces and think you are wierd to talk about something so grosse...i mean isn't like its something taboo..cuz we have litres of dat stuff in our body. Then why do people shirk to donate or willingly give it??? is it fear or just apathy as to why should one donate??

There is never an equal supply to meet the growing demand for blood that our society needs. So what are these barriers?? Is it just public perception or the scare of seeing da needle & one's own blood. These are all major factors no doubt...but don't tell me that all of us suffer from this dilema. Ironically,not half..not quarter..but much less than that are the number of ppl who donate to replenish this shortage.There are loads of misconceptions etc. which need to be cleared up for people to be more susceptible to blood donation.

On friday, i decided to donate blood for the second time in my life..was i scared??..no..was i a bit worried...yeah i was....i went to college for the donation drive...had my breakfast as well as ate an apple before donating. Seeing the big needle kinda freaked me out...cuz yup i admit..I HATE NEEDLES !!!...yet this was something i really wanted to do...nyway with my friend covering my eyes...& after they searchd for the vein..evrytin was cool..my mental fren was clickn snapz of me...RETARD!!..n showin me pics of myself...nyway all went well until it came for the time to put dat acetone & da pati...Well i dint know my blood doesn't clot as soon as others..n soon enuff..i had a mini red pool in front of me ....my hand, wincheater,was soaked...n yup..i YELPED in da college hall..after dat happened...den da usual feelin dizzy followed...rest n stuff..evn aftr going thru all dis.. i still wanna donate blood when its permissible to do...Last year they took nearly 450 ml [cRAZY rAHEJA hOSP] from me compared to the 300 ml they took this time.Anyway this was my story...wat abt urs???

Its kinda late but still belated HAPPY EASTER!!! Easter dis year was fun...went for the usual midnite mass...dats at 8pm..lasted nearly 3hrs!!!I went with ma frenz...5 of us...heard da sermon in marathi,konkani,hindi..n d only language i understood...english. Went for dinner 2 bandra...spent nearly 2hrs deciding where to go...lol...landed up at our fav haunt..mocha's...i had a blast..gt a lil high on sum orange flavoured...really strong hookah..spent da nite at adu's place....where his gf n me listend 2 dese guys discuss da things dey LOVE da most...PORN,CARS,BOOZE & GYM...very vicious circle lol...guess guys will be guys!!! Came home by arnd 7 in da morning only 2 sleep 4 3hrs..cuz had 2 b in borivali...cuzin's place...da usual family...had a blast out der as well...ate loads of easter bunnies n chocolates..all in all...a very very njoyable easter...ending with 2days worth of sleeep....

Read the Da VInci Code ysterday.i know a bit 2 late...jus diint have the time 2 read it earlier..nyway finshd d whole book in like 7hrs...lots of things abt it is kinda botherin me..yea i am a catholic..nt a devout 1 doh...still u kno d kind who keeps d faith...i read in church...bt dis book i feel isnt being fair...lots of unanswered questions in ma head.....yea i like being analytic...but is dan brown rite...i mean..i jus saw an article in d papers 2 day abt mayb he wrote dat stuff...so as to help his publishers..who have another bk<holy blood,holy grail> who dint fair 2 well...with a court case 2 giv it more publicity...hmmm dnt know wat 2 tink...shud i call it fiction..or.....
